R&A reveal record price tag sales for The 149th Open at Royal St George's

Tickets for next year's Open in Sandwich were created offered on Mon on and resulted in unprecedented sales and a replacement record for advanced price tag requests within the history of the tournament.
The 148th Open later this month at Royal Portrush set a replacement record for the quickest sell-out and prompted the R&A to increase the capability from forty,000 to 43,750 per day to satisfy the demand.


But that record has currently been broken because the Open prepares to come back to the historic Sandwich links for the primary time since 2011, once Darren Clarke created his major breakthrough in gorgeous fashion at the age of forty-two.
A statement issued by the R&A read: "The following record-breaking sales on Mon the demand for tickets to The 149th Open at Royal St. George's continued through Tuesday as fans secured their place for the come back of The hospitable Kent next summer.
