Ricky Ponting says Steve Smith and David Warner are ready for hostile crowd against England

Ricky Ponting says Steve Smith and David Warner are prepared for a hostile reception from the gang and are keen to regain the respect of the general public as Australia combat England at Lord's on Tuesday.


"I assume they must be [prepared for the hostile atmosphere], they've had an extended time to place confidence in it," .

Ponting was chatting with former European country captain and Sky Sports initiate Nasser Hussain and says he will perceive why the gang would boo Smith and Warner.
