Ricky Ponting says Steve Smith and David Warner are ready for hostile crowd against England
Ricky Ponting says Steve Smith and David Warner are prepared for a hostile reception from the gang and are keen to regain the respect of the general public as Australia combat England at Lord's on Tuesday.
"I assume they must be [prepared for the hostile atmosphere], they've had an extended time to place confidence in it," .
"We've had bits and items of that anyway through a number of the apply games wherever there was that little bit of negativity towards them. They'll be prepared for it and that we understand one issue, if they're keeping the gang quiet tomorrow then they're taking part in well.
"I've spoken to them already, they understand what they're reaching to be confronted with tomorrow. It's reaching to be a hostile atmosphere out there ahead of English fans and also the English cricket team.
"That's the opposite issue, this European country team could be a excellent team which will be smarting when a loss the opposite day thus they'll need to make a come back and that they won't want to form life simple for Warner or Smith call at the center either."
Ponting was chatting with former European country captain and Sky Sports initiate Nasser Hussain and says he will perceive why the gang would boo Smith and Warner.
"I do however I don't assume these 2 boys are the sole two boys UN agency have ever tampered with a cricket equipment.
"Even during this country there's been a couple of guys that once a number of those players went back onto the sector, they weren't booed. everyone understands it and people boys don't seem to be happy with what's happened.
